WHERE TO STAY: FEE-FREE

• V.I.P. (Very Important Pup) Treatment:  accommodates all cats and dogs into its Kierland Companion’s Club, a home away from home, for free. Pups receive a complimentary Westin Heavenly Dog Welcome Kit including clean-up bags, food dishes and most importantly, a Westin Heavenly dog bed.

They’ll receive a welcome pet amenity including dog treats, a double-sided bowl for water and food, pet clean-up bags, and a ‘Pet in Room’ sign. A limited supply of elevated dog beds are also available on loan, allowing pets to sleep next to the bed. Conveniently located downtown, guests can take their pets for a walk around the property’s lush grounds, around Old Town ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ or along the nearby Arizona Canal Trail. Mountain Shadows will make felines and canines alike feel at home with a bed, food and water bowls, bottled water, doggie bags and a complimentary pet amenity upon request. Pets are also welcome on the patio at Rusty’s, the golf course restaurant. If pets need to stay in the guestroom, a pet door hanger may be placed on the door to alert staff.

A partnership with Pawsitive Vacation Pet Sitting makes dog sitting and/or walking services available at a nominal fee, too. One pet, weighing no more than 50 pounds, is allowed per room.
• ’s Pets Are Welcome (PAW) program is custom-designed to treat furry friends with the same level of luxurious service as their masters. Upon check-in at the hotel, they’ll receive the following pet-friendly amenities: An exclusive W Hotels pet bed, treat and water bowl, and a ‘pet in room’ door sign. “Whatever/Whenever” pet services are also available. The room rate with a pet is $25 above the room charge, plus a $100 cleaning fee. One pet, weighing no more than 40 pounds, is allowed per room.
