# Sunhat > Sunhat is the Collaborative Proof Platform for enterprises. Sunhat is not an ESG calculation tool. Companies already use platforms to calculate performance, such as Scope 3 emissions. Sunhat proves that performance where it's needed: it connects to the tools a company already uses (document stores like SharePoint, OneDrive, and Google Drive; ERPs and data platforms; carbon accounting and EHSQ systems) and generates evidence-backed answers for the assessments and audits that ask for that proof. The core workflow is Connect, Collect, Verify, Deliver: link the systems and people where proof lives, pull data automatically instead of chasing it manually, check it against what a rating or regulation actually requires, and deliver complete, source-linked answers. Verified answers are stored in a Proof Library and reused in the next reporting cycle instead of being recreated from scratch.
